I had the pleasure to meet Lee and Ronald Stock on my hunting trip to South Africa in October 2021. A meeting that still stands out and has left me with an impression of 2 persons that are extremely skilled in their line of work. Passionate craftsmen/woman that uphold a high level of service towards their clients, and everything done with respect, spiced with the right touch of humour. Lucky are those who get to know Ronald and also get to benefit from his skill as top professional PH. I must admit that the professionalism that were laid out to give me an outstanding African hunt experience was impressive. From the start of our visit, Ronald had only one goal and that was to ensure that our hunting trip was the best possible. It became evident that we had the good fortune to being in the hands of a very skilled PH, with a thorough knowledge of the game, terrain and how to setup good stalks. First priority for Ronald is the client! I can say that this is fully supported by his high service level, the ability to read his guests, and to ensuring that you are comfortable, well catered for and entertained. This done via his huge knowledge of history, life and wildlife in South Africa (and connecting countries), all spiced up with his fantastic humour. Blessed are those who get to taste the superb food prepared by Lee. The food prepared by Lee is tasty, well prepared, and visually well presented, making the experience of her cooking even better, regardless of it being breakfast, lunch or dinner. The talent as a splendid cook also shows when, in the blink of an eye, she masters the skill of adjusting menus on the fly, taking into account allergies and specific wishes from the guests. Not only is she a talented cook that strives for perfection, she constantly allows herself to be curious of new ways of cooking, as well as showing interest for “foreign” cooking (Yes we did exchange recipes from DK) When above is combined with Lee’s friendly, calm, structured and hardworking nature you simply have a base for an enjoyable stay and food experience way above average. All my wishes for a good hunt and stay came true, thanks to Ronald and Lee – THANK YOU

We enjoyed our first trip to South Africa in April. We arrived with excitement and full of anticipation for our adventure. From the moment we were picked up from the airport and still to this day we are treated like family. They arranged for every possible need from possible food allergies to comforts of our room. Ronald openly shared his knowledge and passion for the animals and life itself, we would have great conversations and lots of laughs, but serious when it was needed. Lee, our amazing chef. We absolutely love her! She kept us well fed and loved hearing our stories of the day’s adventures. She did an outstanding job and amazed us with every meal.

The RonLee crew did an awesome job. Accommodations were spectacular. Animals feeding and watering at the lodge as the sun sets is something I’ll never forget. Mrs Lee’s cooking was out of this world. Truly 5 star experience. If Trip Advisor had a rating of 10 stars I would give it to them.

Lee- To see someone’s true self you have to have them open up to you. Lee went above and beyond on the hospitality and that’s when we got to learn more about her. She truly has a passion for serving others to ensure the best experience possible. Between the first rate service of tending to our trip and the amazing dishes she prepares, we were blown away at the drive this woman had all while still tending to her own family at the end of the day. We would definitely visit again just for the food and fellowship. Lee is the industry standard for a host and would recommend her to anyone. Ronald-Ronald was tagged our PH for our excursion, but due to the needs of another couple he was tasked to guide for them. He gladly took this task due to the patience that was going to be required to give them the ultimate experience and he delivered as expected. He was humble, extremely knowledgeable of the animals, and again the patience of a saint. I look forward to returning and chasing dangerous game with Ronald and getting in close to the animals like he does. Overall, this husband and wife duo will beyond meet your expectations and you will be looking into future excursions with them prior to leaving! My husband and I never felt like guests, but more family. We can’t wait to get back.
